Citrine Gold Plated Ring – One Of A Kind

Creating this ring was all about embracing the natural beauty of the materials.

The setting is made open at the back to let the light pass through and highlight the beauty and color of the Citrine.

The citrine at the center is truly one of a kind, chosen for its character rather than perfection. Its visible inclusions give it depth and uniqueness, adding to the organic feel of the piece.

The bezel setting was one of the most rewarding parts to create—each granulated detail was individually added, giving the ring a unique, textured finish that highlights the stone’s beauty while ensuring a secure, elegant setting.

I started with sterling silver and applied a double layer of gold plating* to achieve a rich, warm finish that’s both durable and luxurious.

Every step in the process was about letting the materials shine in their own right, resulting in a piece that feels both personal and enduring.

*The metal has been slightly polished to a satin finish and has been given a ”Double d’ Ór” gold plating which gives a 1.5 micron of thickness layer of 18 karat gold over silver that allows it to be much more durable over time.
