Shipping

 

Most of our items are made to order and may take up to 3 weeks to be completed.

 

We always try to create and ship your orders the soonest possible but If you wish for an expedited handling and processing of your order please contact us (through the ”Contact” button on the top left of our page) and we will get back to you to arrange a convenient delivery time frame for you 🙂

 

Regarding Items that are ready to Ship , shipping will be handled within the next 3 business days following that of the order.

 

After we have finished creating your piece you will receive an e-mail informing you that your order has shipped. The email will include a tracking number so that you can check the status of your order. Information about any backordered or cancelled items will be included in a separate email.

All of our products come beautifully and safely packaged and are gift ready.

 

Please make sure your address is correct and complete when placing an order.

 

We ship orders to all EU countries, US states and territories, as well as all other countries.

 

Some exceptions may apply regarding shipping with DHL Express.

By DHL you ensure an extra fast shipment for your order.

Orders will be sent by DHL courier post and are tracked . Items may need to be signed for, so if you are not at home we recommend having your item sent to your work address. Items will arrive within 1-3 working days of receiving your tracking information.

The price of Shipping varies on location and is calculated upon checkout.Below you will see an average cost estimation for every country.

*Shipments to Russia, Turkey and Egypt via DHL Express are not yet applicable due to customs regulations in the country. Applicable shipping method to those countries is only via registered mail standard method.

Standard Shipping Method

 We use first priority registered mail through Hellenic Post , which is safe, traceable and takes 7 – 14 working days to deliver.

You will receive your order from your National Post Carrier.

Online tracking services are not available from all National Post Carriers.

We cannot guarantee that your parcel will be tracked online after leaving Greece, that depends from the services provided from your National Post Carrier.

*Please note that those time frames are given according to the postal services guidance and by experience they are valid . However, In some cases especially during holidays there can be delays.

 

Please make sure your adress is correct and complete when placing an order with us.

 

Please note that the shipping cost incurred at time of check out is non-refundable after your order has been dispatched. Customers will not be refunded the shipping cost in the event that a Shipment is refused by the receiver.

 

In case of delivery outside EU the customer is obliged to bear any customs duties and further costs incurred. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so the customer should contact the local customs office for further information. Duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout.They are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.

 

Break a stone will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

 

If your order is returned to Breakastone because the courier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.

 

If your country is not available to ship to, please email us and we will assist you with your purchase.

 

 

Lost or Damaged Items

The risk of loss or damages will not pass to the customer until the goods have been delivered to the customer.

If you have detected that your package is tainted or tampered with, Breakastone does not assume responsibility. Please contact us to arrange a replacement for your order.

 

We are not liable for and will not replace or pay compensation for loss of, or damage to, items we send if:

  • the item is seized by Customs or any other government agency.
  • the item is sent to a country where no postal or courier service exists.
  • the loss or damage is the result of an event beyond our reasonable control.
  • the loss or damage occurs after delivery.

 

 

Returns

Break A Stone accepts returns for products purchased on the Break A Stone webstore only. If you purchased any of our products at a retail store or another website we can not arrange a return for you, you need to work with the store or website you originally purchased from and adhere to their policies.

Please note that Break A Stone has a 14 day returns policy: Any items to be returned or exchanged must be shipped/postmarked within 14 days of delivery date. The 14-days-period shall begin to run after receipt of this instruction (e.g. via e-mail) but in any event no earlier than the goods have been received by the customer.Please follow our instructions below if you wish to make a return:

  • Inform us of your intent to return by emailing us at breakastonejewelry@gmail.com
  • Place the items in the original box or any other solid cardboard box.
  • Tape the box closed securely.
  • Ship with your chosen courier or postal company – we recommend using a trackable and insured method so that your carrier will refund you in the event of theft or loss during delivery. Please keep a record of your tracking number and send us an email with the tracking number too so that we can also keep an eye on the package.
  • IMPORTANT!Clarify on the customs declaration or on the outside of the package that it is a return and value is 0

COVID-19 UPDATE: PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEMS UNTIL THE INTERNATIONAL CARRIERS START WORKING AGAIN PROPERLY. PLEASE CONTACT US AND WE WILL KEEP IN TOUCH AND ARRANGE A TIME CONVENIENT FOR THE SHIPMENT OF THE ITEM BEING RETURNED, GIVEN THE GOVERNMENTS AND CARRIERS’ UPDATES.WE DO NOT WANT ANY PACKAGES GETTING LOST SOMEWHERE SO WE WILL  JUST NEED YOU TO BE A BIT MORE PATIENT WHEN IT COMES TO RETURNS.

Important Information

 

  • Make sure products are exactly as you received them – unworn and in original packaging.
  • All products must be returned in their own undamaged box or pouch.
  • If you guess your ring size and the ring needs to be altered, you will incur an alteration fee.
  • Unless the goods are damaged or defective or not as specified in your order, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • The used stones and other natural raw materials and products are not defective in case of insignificant deviations in form, shape, colour and weight within accepted standards of natural products due to raw materials.
  • If the goods were faulty or incorrect then the cost of return postage will be refunded to you.
  • Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you, this includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning goods.
  • We only refund to the credit card that was used to place the order.
  • All refunds will be processed minus the shipping charge within 1-3 days of receipt at our studio.The amount of time your refund is reflected in your account balance depends on your bank, but typically it takes 3-5 business days for banks to process refunds once we’ve issued them.
  • Custom and made to order items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. However, a resizing / alteration service is available.

Exchanges

If you are interested in exchanging an item, please return the original item purchased within 14 days following the date of delivery, and you will be issued a credit minus the cost of shipping. You can then place a new order. We do not cover the cost of shipping for domestic and international exchanges.
